We would like to make you aware of the following upcoming works in the area around the Camden Goods Yard site which have been communicated to the CGY team by LB Camden and Morrisons.
Highway Resurfacing
As part of the highway upgrades to Chalk Farm Road junction, LB Camden Highways team have advised that their contractor Volker Highways will be resurfacing the carriageway around the Chalk Farm Road junction during the daytime on the following dates:
- Monday 22 February: Chalk Farm Road (south side) and Juniper Crescent access road (west side between Chalk Farm Road junction and bridge).
- Tuesday 23 February: Chalk Farm Road (north side) and Ferdinand Street (junction area)
- Wednesday 24 February: Chalk Farm Road (junction area next to Camden Market) and Juniper Crescent access road (east side Chalk Farm Road between junction and bridge)
LBC advise that road users may experience slight delays and very brief disruption to vehicles accessing the Morrisons car park however the contractor will have marshalls in place to manage and advise all highway users to ensure disruption minimised.
Works will start at 8am each day.
Juniper Crescent Access Road Street Lighting – Tuesday 23 February
Morrisons have advised that their lighting contractor will be undertaking works to upgrade existing street lighting columns along Juniper Crescent access road the evening of Tuesday 23 February. This is to ensure that all street lighting is functioning correctly. Due to the need to undertake the work when traffic levels are very low this work needs to be undertaken at night time.
The contractor will keep noise to an absolute minimum whilst these works are taking place.
In the event the works cannot be completed 23 February, the works will be completed the evening of 24 February.
