Dear Neighbour,
We are writing to inform you about two sets of upcoming works in the Juniper Crescent area in June.
The first set of works involves digging survey trenches to identify the location of services along the Juniper Crescent access road. These will be undertaken by St George’s contractor Toureen starting Monday 14 June and will last for approximately 2 weeks. Any queries on these works can be raised via the Camden Goods Yard project feedback details at the end of this letter.
Secondly, some minor gas diversion works are set to commence on Monday 28th June 2021 and is estimated to be completed by Saturday 19th July 2021. These will be located within the Morrisons site entrance and roundabout.
The gas diversion works will be conducted during day shifts between the working hours of 8:30am and 5pm to minimise disruption for residents in the area.
These works will be undertaken by Cadent, on behalf of St George, and will involve making the existing gas pipe redundant and ensuring that it is safe through appropriate tests. The blue line in the plan below illustrates the route of the new diverted gas pipe.
Cadent have liaised with Transport for London and Camden Highways in planning the gas works before they go ahead. To help minimise disruption to residents’ journeys, a traffic management system will be implemented to allow buses to continue using the roundabout and bus stop at the Morrisons store at all times via traffic lights and barriers.
