We are providing an update on the upcoming dismantling of Tower Crane 1 within the Camden Goods Yard main site.
There will be extended hours required on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday to complete this work. We have permission from the London Borough of Camden to work outside of our normal site hours.
Extended hours on Wednesday (06/11/2024) will be from 18:00-20:00. These relate to preparation works required ahead of the Tower Crane 1 dismantle at the weekend. These are not noisy works but do involve use of Tower Crane 1.
Tower Crane 1 will be dismantled during 09/11/2024 – 10/11/2024, between 08:00-18:00.
Mobile cranes for the dismantling work will arrive at Stephenson Street on Friday between 6am and 8am, in accordance with the traffic movement orders. They will have their engines and lights off until 8am, when the gates open. Due to police embargo restrictions, the cranes will need to leave the site after 8pm on Monday.
While the dates above have been scheduled with our contractors, should wind or weather become a factor we may have to re-schedule works to one of the weekends following the date noted. Should this be the case we will notify residents accordingly.
